What’s the plan?
This site started with with a bold ambition: To change the way we learn about the world’s greatest threat. We’re small and slow-moving compared with larger media organisations. We don’t do breaking news stories, we won’t publish more than a piece or two a day. We’re all volunteers, we do this for fun, and out of a sense of shared responsibility for halting and reversing human-caused global warming.
We believe the media landscape across the Western world is broken. An obsession with sensationalism, countless vested interests, corrupt media moguls, party-political biases and overpowering financial motives have grotesquely distorted the way in which we learn about the world. When it comes to a problem as imminently catastrophic as climate change, we can’t afford to be mislead. It’s time for honest reporting and ideas, inspiring activism to change our collective narrative. We aim to give young writers a voice to achieve just that.

Our Ethos and Practises
We’re very different to other media organisations. Here’s how:
Finances
We make no money. Any advertising you see goes to our developer site, WordPress. Domain hosting costs are paid privately by our Founder from their other work. Our writers are all volunteers and receive no financial reward from having a piece published on our site.
Integrity
This means we are an honest, transparent organisation. Our writers are inspired by their own areas of interest and opinions, and a desire to raise awareness of important topics. We’re here to make a difference, not a profit.
Inclusivity
We welcome anyone onto our team. There is room for everyone and every possible skillset, and we’re always looking to expand our activities, particularly through new creative means. We’re a new start-up, meaning we’re highly flexible and open-minded. We are also tolerant of all opinions supported by robust evidence in our Opinions sections, and will ensure all pieces are correctly labelled to protect our readers from personal bias.
