But what can I do?
The climate emergency is real, and getting worse. It’s natural to feel overwhelmed and frightened- in fact, its good if you do. What we are facing is an existential crisis, chronically underreported and underestimated by most major news outlets.
But don’t let that fear become despair- it’s too late to avoid all consequences of human-caused climate change, but we must fight to minimise its impact every step of the way. At the end of each article on here, we have added a ‘Change the Narrative’ section, promoting ways you can help out with every situation we report on. But you’ll likely be connecting the dots, and realising we need much wider, connected action by governments, businesses and civil society to tackle the causes, not the consequences, of climate change. That’s what this page is for.
Below we’ve listed different international activist networks, pressure groups and NGOs that you can support with time, effort or donations. Follow the links to find branches local to you, and take action.
